Through years of passionate and relentless work, Tamás Fehér has evolved from talented part-time sketcher to full-time horological artist. His personal touch is in depicting the unique intertwine between a timepiece and the historic stories behind it, resulting in an image that pays homage to watchmaking icons and their roles in modern history.
This drawing took over 100 hours to complete and is inspired by the Rolex Daytona 6265 "Big Red," a luxurious chronograph wristwatch that Tamás saw in person in May 2023 — it was that personal encounter that inspired him to pay homage to this incredible Rolex watch with his own hand-drawn watch art. Accurate to extremely fine details such as the reflections on the case, bezel, and screw-down pushers, as well as the tiniest grooves within the subdials and the serifs on the "Big Red" Daytona text in red, Tamás's art brings this spectacular timepiece – and high-octane motor racing – to a larger-than-life scale for unrivaled appreciation.
“I initially started drawing watches just for myself to get, in my own way, closer to the watches that I liked. Sometimes I work on a single drawing for 120 hours. Spending days over their minute details is how I bring the beauty of a watch into focus, albeit on a larger scale.”
Once a drawing is complete, a state-of-the-art scanner is used to faithfully digitalize all its hand-made details and allow for archival quality printing. The paper we use for all prints is Bockingford 300g by St. Cuthberts Mill, who have been making paper on the same site since the 1700’s by the ancient Cathedral City of Wells, England.

– At $299, the B1 extra-large format – size: 70.7 cm by 100 cm, which is 27.8 in by 39.4 in.
– At $199, the B2 "large" – size: 50.0 cm by 70.7 cm ; 19.7 inches by 27.8
– and at $149, the A3 "medium" – size: 29.7 cm by 42.0 cm ; 11.7 inches by 16.5 inches.
