Get your piece of horological art: these high-end prints are of entirely hand-drawn images that take up to two weeks to go from a clean sheet to a finished piece.
Through years of passionate and relentless work, Tamás Fehér has evolved from talented part-time sketcher to full-time horological artist. His personal touch is in depicting the unique intertwine between a timepiece and the historic stories behind it, resulting in an image that pays homage to watchmaking greats and their roles in modern history.
This drawing is inspired by three true icons of the 20th century: Sean Connery, the Rolex Submariner, and James Bond, i.e. Agent 007. Accurate to extremely fine details, such as the texture and weave of the "Royal Scots" government strap on Connery's reference 6538 and the remarkable contrast of the Submariner dial, Tamás' drawing provides fans of Connery, Bond and the Submariner the largest rendition of his iconic choice of watch.
Once a drawing is complete, a state-of-the-art scanner is used to faithfully digitalize all its hand-made details and allow for archival quality printing. The paper we use for all prints is Bockingford 300g by St. Cuthberts Mill, who have been making paper on the same site since the 1700’s by the ancient Cathedral City of Wells, England.
