Easy to carry, beautifully made and a joy to use. Designed from scratch with materials picked & sourced by the aBlogtoWatch team, our watch carry pouches are tailor-made exclusively for the aBlogtoWatch audience.Â
Dozens of prototypes and tireless fine-tuning has led the aBlogtoWatch team to our bespoke tweed watch carry pouches. Having travelled the world and all its major watch exhibitions, we have grown to appreciate a compact and secure pouch that allows us to carry an extra watch in our backpack, jacket, or pocket, even. Because yes, this one fits in your pocket.
Â
First, with metal bracelet-equipped watches in mind, we set out to create a secure, comfortable and beautifully made alternative to cumbersome watch rolls and bulky cases. We strived to keep the form factor as compact as possible, while leaving enough room for 46mm wide, 17mm thick watches on long metal bracelets to be stored safely.
Â
To top it all off, we have added a business card holder on the back of the pouch, so that the owner of a lost pouch can be contacted. Alternatively, it also works well as a snug business card or hotel key card holder. For this part of our watch pouch, we visit a small local leather supplier and hand-pick the leather hides ourselves.Â
Â
Using the highest quality fabrics exclusively from historic British fabric mill Holland & Sherry (in continuous operation since 1836) all our watch pouches are made from start to finish by a sewing atelier in Budapest, Hungary.

How is it made?
Woven by hand in the Western Isles of Scotland, on the outside of our "Crown Green" pouch you'll touch the remarkably robust texture of Harris Tweed reference 8919018. This is Holland & Sherry's hardest-wearing, most robust tweed traditionally used to make jackets which will last decades — and keep its wearer warm and comfy in the chilliest of gales. With a weight of 470-500 grams per square meter, it is the undisputed heavy-hitter among tweeds, if there ever was one. It won't turn your A. Lange & Söhne into a G-Shock simply by storing it in Harris Tweed... But it will add valuable extra protection during minor falls and keep your watch safe from scratches and bumps when transporting and storing.
Â
On the inside, a beautifully color matched green silk lining gives a cozy home to your watch and its metal bracelet. What you can feel out but won't ever see is the extra padding we install over the snap button's base piece in between the lining and the fabric. Although already covered by the lining, this extra padding is so that the snap button never presses against your watch when you are securing the lid.
Â
Every pouch comes with a multi-layer pad with stitching along all its edges to create a durable bed your watch can rest on. This way your watch's bracelet and caseback won't ever rub against each other, leaving your caseback, clasp and the inside of the bracelet links pristine.
Â
Lastly, the back of your watch pouch is covered by a piece of thin and smooth black leather sized to snugly and securely hold a credit card or hotel key card, or accommodate conventionally sized business cards.

How to use?
It's easy! Take off your watch. Take the watch pad and slide it between the bracelet's folding clasp and the caseback — we have made this to keep your watch straight up inside the pouch and to keep your caseback and bracelet from scratching itself. Depending on the length of your bracelet, leave the clasp open or close it for a tighter fit around the pad. Slide the watch into your case. Close the snap button to secure the lid... That's it, you're good to go!

Please note that the patterns on our windowpane fabric pouches can and will vary greatly from the one that is pictured.
